While there is no requirement to fundraise, many families find that our wide variety of fundraising options help mitigate the costs associated with registration fees, equipment costs, accessories packages, and travel expenses once we get into the heart of the tackle football and competitive cheer seasons.

Fundraising Opportunities

Cleveland Pop Warner Association partners with PNC Arena and Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek to staff concessions and bars for sporting events, concerts, comedy shows and other family events held at those venues.

Our group earns a commission on the total sales made by the stands we staff plus a percentage of the tips we make. Volunteering for these events are a great way to build relationships with other Cleveland Pop Warner families and represent our organization out in the community.

How to Sign Up

CPWA uses VolunteerSignup to manage the volunteer shifts for our NPO fundraising program. Volunteer shifts are open to families with active, registered athletes in either our football or cheer programs. Volunteers for PNC must be 16 years or older, and volunteers for CCUMP at Walnut Creek must be 18 years or older.

Each event on the signup list has a main list and a standby list. The main list are confirmed volunteers that are locked into the event, the standby list are volunteers that are committed to fill openings in the event that a member of the main list has an unexpected conflict or emergency and must give up their shift. We also sometimes pull volunteers from the standby list to staff extra stands if the venue needs additional help. Events listed as "PENDING" are events that we expect to staff, but have not yet locked in the exact stand assignments and number of volunteers needed. Knowing how many volunteers we have available for that event in advance, helps us provide the correct availability information to the venue.

How Can I use My Fundraising?

Fundraising can be used to offset the costs of registration fees, uniform and equipment fees, cheer accessories, and expenses associated with competition and playoff travel.
